Dodge 2024 Lineup

A Look At What's New For the 2024 Dodge Models

The Dodge 2024 lineup is down to two SUVs, the Hornet and the Durango. The Challenger and Charger muscle cars have been discontinued for 2024, but there are still plenty of 2023 models out there. EAG CDJRF Palestine is here to update you on what's new for Dodge.

Dodge Hornet

The Dodge Hornet is a rebooted old nameplate for the brand that debuted as a 2023 compact SUV. For 2024, a new R/T plug-in hybrid is available. The four-door Hornet is powered by a 1.3-liter turbocharged inline-four engine paired with a six-speed automatic transmission. An electric motor powers the rear wheels. The Hornet's battery allows it to travel up to 32 miles on a single electric charge, and the total driving range is 360 miles. A few changes are in store for the 2024 Dodge Hornet, including a standard hands-free powerliftgate on the R/T Plus and GT Plus trims. Dodge has also added parallel and perpendicular parking capability to the Tech Package. Overall, the Dodge Hornet features snappy acceleration, sporty handling, and a generous driver assistance suite.

Dodge Durango

For 2024, the three-row Dodge Durango is mostly unchanged. One new feature is the Citadel trim level gets the Tow N Go package, which allows it to tow up to 8,700 pounds. If you want to make the most of your Dodge Durango, we highly recommend this package as it also adds several performance upgrades, including an adaptive suspension, a performance exhaust, and a limited-slip differential. Blind-spot monitoring is now standard on all Dodge Durango trims for the 2024 model year. Highlights of the 2024 Dodge Durango include its striking muscle car styling, fun handling, and its range of powerful engines. The Durango SRT Hellcat was brought back for 2023 and you can still find some of these models on dealer lots.

Dodge Challenger and Charger

Unfortunately for muscle car enthusiasts everywhere, the Dodge Challenger and Dodge Charger are no longer in production. However, there are still quite a few of the 2023 models available if you're willing to be flexible on trims and options. Both models have a range of powerful V8 engines and feature comfortable cabins. Some Charger models also offer AWD. Dodge has indicated that the Charger may return, but it will likely take a different form than the previous one. It's also likely that the future Charger will be an EV.

What's Next For Dodge?

Right now, the next car on the table for Dodge is an EV based on the Dodge Daytona SRT Concept currently being shown on the auto show circuit. The EV coupe already has some interesting details, like a Fratzonic Chambered Exhaust system that creates 126 decibels of noise generated by the airflow from electricity converting to power. Dodge has also revealed that the top models will carry the Banshee nameplate.
